I recently wrote a post on my blog about all the products I use and I LOVE them all!

If you'd like to read about them (with pics of everything I use) just visit my blog and find the post called "Armed for Battle" or you can click "Cleaning Tools" at the top of the page.

Thanks and happy (and long) cleaning!

P.S. After nearly a month in braces I can now floss in under 15 minutes...YAY!

Just read it (getting braced in 2 and a bit weeks) very helpful, thank you for sharing.
Do you find the size of the sonicare brush head a bit cumbersome? I have an oral-b with the little round head at the moment, and am wondering whether a sonicare might be a good idea, but am worried i'll find it hard to reach everywhere in my small mouth with a larger head?

Harriet, the head that came with my Sonicare wasn't big at all, it was easy to brush and still got into all the nooks and crannies. I used to have one like your's and in my opinion it didn't clean my teeth as well. But you have to use what works best for you and your mouth. I love mine because it really, really cleans so well, the sonic technology gives it that extra umph!

Your blog is AMAZING! How did you get the mobile version and the menu where you can scroll through the topics? It's so great for smartphones!

Very helpful - thank you! My children are new to braces and I want to make the experience as comfortable as possible for them...yet having never had braces that seems like a huge task, so I appreciate you sharing your favorites! :)

I know this is kind of old :) But, I just read the reply here that asks about the head on the Sonicare toothbrush being too big. Good news :) You can get smaller heads for that model of toothbrush (I have the same one and LOVE it). I actually prefer the smaller heads over the regular toothbrush sized ones since my mouth is so small. Hope that helps anyone who had the same question/issue.
