Has anyone developed a lisp after they got their braces removed?!
Mine were removed about a week ago, with permanent top and bottom retainers and I'm lisping like crazy. My ortho said it would go away in 3-4 days but it definitely hasn't and I was wondering if anyone here has experienced the same thing and how you got rid of it/did you get rid of it?

I don't remember having a lisp with the permanent retainers 
I definitely have it with the removable ones currently, definitely worse with the hawleys than the clear. I've only been brace-free for 8 days though and just got the hawleys today. I'm sure it will resolve.
