Yup, ligatures are those colorful bands around the brackets. I have silver to match the brackets so far. I was annoyed because the ortho assistant forgot to put one on me since the silver ligature camouflaged with my silver bracket. The first time I got my top 6 teeth braced, a different ortho assistant forgot to place a spacer. I feel obligated to check their work before I leave now since it is a long commute to go see them. -_-""

Molar bands go on your back teeth...They are different from powerchains... For now, I don't plan to have any colorful ligatures until my extraction sites close. Colorful ligatures attract more attention to my braces but apparently, it appears to safeguard from ortho mistakes. We'll see... What color ligatures do you have on now if it's not silver?

Yeah, I was afraid of dry socket. Heal my friend, heal! I'm curious how your diet plays out while you heal. :D

The ligatures I have are the clear ones, supposedly made from the same material as my brackets, so they don't stain as bad as the regular clear ligatures.

I ate some pudding a few hours ago and I'm drinking some herbal tea right now. About to take another Amoxicillin. At least I get to catch up on Roku ^_^

o.o!! Those ligatures are quite amazing!!

Birds are chirping outside my window and it's tripping me out. It sounds like my bf's alarm but it's not. He is still asleep LOL He's quite the sleeping beauty @@;;

I am currently eating from my tub of ice cream. I had bought two. I was disappointed because my mango sorbet tasted better half a year ago! The same manufacturer (Kroger's/Ralph) did something to it bc it tastes different now. :( The other flavor I got--the one I'm currently eating-- is Vanilla Chocolate Fudge low fat frozen yogurt. It's not that great. :/ Gotta finish it bc my skinny stick bf won't help >:O !! XD

What's Roku?

Roku is kinda like Amazon Fire Stick or Apple TV--you download a bunch of "channels" (including Netflix) and you can kinda customize your programming. I think it's meant for cable cutters, but since we have DirecTV at home I can just connect to the DirecTV account and I can watch a good handful of my channels live in my room without having to go into the living room where the satellite box is. There are some shows that I have to still go into the living room for, but I can also catch up on shows that I missed. Say if I forgot something came on one day, I can get it on Roku the next day (kinda like On Demand).

Your bf is lazy XD But at least you have one. Where can I get one of those? Seriously, I've been single for 28 years and it sucks XP
