Just had an Advancsync appliance installed today. It's a type of Herbst appliance. Anyone have any experience? It shifts my lower jaw so that I have literally ZERO contact between my upper and lower teeth. Sigh, back to a liquid diet. I've got 9 months with this thing. Will it always be this hard??

never heard of it or tried it but trust me, you will adjust to anything installed into your mouth, it just takes some time.
