New to braces

Hello all-

My top braces went on Aug. 19 and bottom braces went on Sept. 7 after extraction of tooth #26 due to class 1 crowding. After the fact, I wonder if I should have asked more questions about options aside from extraction as I didn't consider how my midline would look.I am wearing all metal damon brackets on top and bottom. I have spacing within the top teeth that I wanted to close and so far it seems my teeth are moving rather quickly. I also have triangular shaped teeth which will likely result in the black spaces. Depending on how my teeth come together it is possible we will do IPR, composite resin or leave the space.
