Invisalign at 48! Week 1!

After much consideration over 25+ years, I FINALLY decided to get Invisalign to correct gaps that I have with the most pronounced gap being on the upper right side. I'm told this is a gap that most people have between their front teeth, but mine just happened to occur on the side. Despite reading everything I could, I don't think I was truly prepared for the experience: the excess saliva, the aching when you take them out, taking them out EVERY TIME I want to eat or drink, the "talking funny" and the feeling that my teeth want to break out of the plastic and just BREATHE!! It is getting easier each day though. Tomorrow will be one full week with these in. I have 27 trays to go through and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this message board! Wish me Luck!!
