I had braces when I was 13 and now at 32, I started an Invisalign treatment 4 weeks ago. My treatment consists of 30 upper trays and 18 lower trays and the whole process should last from 18 to 24 months.
Of course, I am not happy with the idea that I have to go through all this braces-related discomfort and pain all over again but I am very grateful that technology evolved in such a way that my braces don't even show! At least, I am suffering without the metal-face look.
