My Damon Clear Braces Journey

Hey fellow braced friends,

I recently decided (almost 2 months into my journey) to document my journey step by step on a blog, I have learnt so much from via other people's experiences on this forum and social media and thus decided it was time for me to give back and add to the literature for brace wearers

I am a damon Q clear brace wearer, braced at 33, Male and work full time in the corporate world

On my blog I will share my progress, my diet & recipes (I work out regularly to build mass so I have had to improvise to ensure high protein intake during my brace sentence) as well as my cleaning routine

If you are on blogspot let me know and I'll add you back =)

Hey fellow forum posters,

If you are now undergoing or about to get braces chances are you would've been presented with the option of extractions, my blog is now updated with pre and post extraction care to prevent unwanted side effects such as the dry socket, I have also included a section on how extractions can correct your bite and why it is sometimes necessary

When I first started out researching my options for braces I found the blogs and information on this forum very helpful - hopefully I can now do the same and contribute back to the library of information =)

You should be able to do that too, maybe consult your ortho? That said the visibility between white and normal wires isnt all that much upclose anyway lol

I would say go with what is going to offer the best and fastest treatment =)

Good luck with your journey mate

Its been a while since I've updated my blog partly because I have been busy but also since the movement has been a lot more subtle

Here's a snapshot of my extraction gaps at day 282
