Metal Mouth Message Board

Hi all, I have a anterior open bite. I am only having upper jaw surgery. Is anyone having the same thing? I just can not find anyone on here. Thanks in advanced. Shaye

I am only having upper jaw surgery, as well. I don't know the specific name for my bite/problem, but I assume it's a bit of an overbite/crossbite. I have a narrow upper palate that needs to be expanded and moved forward. Apparently, from what ortho and surgeon have said, my lower jaw can remain untouched.
