Back in January, I decided to start a blog to chronicle my journey through braces, surgery and beyond. Starting with hearing my dentist recommend I have a consult with an ortho to determine my route to a pain free jaw and a bite that hits where it is supposed to.

Now I am ready to share it

Up until now, braces seemed so far away, but looking at the calendar tells me that day is almost here, and with it... accepting that there were 30 candles on my birthday cake (shudder) 4 days previous.

Yesterday was my day... the braces are on. Tender gums, but doing well

I got spacers put in today, so I blogged about it. Stoopid spacers
