Expander Question

I am scheduled for SARPE later this month, and my orthodontist has sent me a picture of the expander she will use.

It appears to be a bonded expander with plastic on it. I don't see the typical screw and wires I have seen on other expanders.

Has anyone else had a bonded expander? What can I expect? Getting nervous.
