Did anyone experience a numb part of your tongue? If so, when did it return to normal? Thanks!

Yes the tip of my tongue was numb/tingly for several weeks post-op. I can't remember when I noticed the feeling back exactly but I reckon around 2 months post-op my tongue had no numbness or tingling sensation.

Hi- has anyone experienced their numbness wearing off as a burning sensation? I feel little electrical pulses which are fine but the constant burning is awful. I'm only two weeks post op with sensation returning. My surgeon said my nerve was large and easy to avoid. That's about all that's gone right:/ any one else experienced burning? Thanks

not really, but numbness was sometime present in my case, but that's some time ago alredy. anyway, i hope you recover soon. best wishes, J.
