...I must eat pinto bean and rice burritos almost every day (yep, with tortillas), and indian food and thai food for a lot fo the other meals. So almost all my meals have rice and either whole beans, cheese, lettuce, tortilla, chopped cilantro, chopped tomato and even bread or dal or or curries. And also pizza. I'm mostly vegetarian.
jalapeno I'm totally vegetarian and also dabble a lot in vegan foods. I eat all the foods you've listed above without any problems. My ortho's advice was that with care all foods can be attempted ... just a few of the harder ones take some people a little longer to get back into eating. From memory I was back eating my usual foods before the end of week one. A few raw veggies I cut into small pieces as I still lacked confidence with chewing, but that quickly returned. Crisp and crunchy foods I broke so that I didn't have to bite them ... but I soon returned to enjoying my usually chewing routine with my molars!
If you're worried about ligs staining ... make sure you get ones that don't stain, or show very little staining. Purple, black, silver, dark green are just a few of the ones I know don't stain. Bright and dark blue are great, but turn sea green after a good curry, which is still a good colour. My ortho also offered wire ties, but as I love colour I declined his kind offer!
I recommend you invest in a waterpik if you're concerned about food getting stuck in places and it taking a while to cleanup. I never had one for the first six months and I never found it a problem, just swirled with water or other fluids, and always carried my dentakit with me, which includes a mirror and tooth pick. After a friend sent me a waterpik from overseas, I've found cleaning, after eating many foods, is now a lot faster!
Be positive that eating will not be a problem for you, then make sure this is the case!
Good luck!
