Quick swish with water, waterpik, floss, brush, mouthwash.

I find waterpiking before flossing helps get all the large chunks out of the way so my floss has a clear path from which to work.

though my waterpik is portable, i doubt i will be taking it anywhere with me unless i am going away for the night, a weekend or on holiday. for the time being i will be using it morning and night only.

I've been using the waterpik ultra for a week now and absolutely love it. I have found that I still need to floss as well, however. I'm still getting used to controlling the water flow because it can be a bit messy. But everytime I use it I get that 'fresh from the dentist clean' feel. Highly recommend.

My cat was doing something terribly horribly awful (trying to kill and/or stalking my bird) while I was using my waterpik before work, so I shot it at her. True story. I make such a mess with it... and most mornings I'm not shooting it at my cat. I can't figure out how to use it without all the water dripping down to my elbow and onto the floor. Oh well... it's just water.

Splay your elbows out to the side and try to keep the pik handle as horizontal as possible. Any water that doesn't fall right out of your mouth should drip into the sink as soon as it hits a "corner" on the pik handle.

I got my WP-100 now and have been using it for about a week now. I wish I had gotten it sooner. I have a TPA and braces so there are a lot of crevices for stuff (food) to get caught. It is very easy to use and you can immediately feel and see the difference. I'm also doing waterpik > toothbrush > floss. I just fill up the whole tank and waterfloss until it's empty, so the whole process takes probably 90 seconds to 2 minutes max. I have a cleaning scheduled in a few weeks and I'm sure the hygienist will notice the difference.

If you get one and you're unsure how to use it, just youtube waterpik and there will be some tutorials.

The US version of many appliances will not work overseas. In fact, American merchants are forbidden by the Waterpik company to sell their products overseas, because they do not work there. I believe it's the same for many appliances, such as Sonicare toothbrushes.
