Mine were $5800, but my wonderful boyfriend paid them off for me. Let me tell you, I'm not good with monthly payments!

I have my paperwork in front of me because I just got braced last week! Let's see:

$3990 for my 26-month treatment and two-year retention after that.
$ 175 extra for my top ceramic brackets
$ 250 records fee
$4415 total

$1000 covered by insurance; records fee paid up front; $465 down payment on brace day; 25 monthly payments of $108.

Alright, some of the posts in this forum are making me jealous.

I serve in the military, and I am still paying in FULL the price of my braces, which happens to be almost $6000.

$700 down, and $248 a month X 22 months. What can I say? It's totally worth it! ....But it still sucks that I have to pay the full amount out of pocket. :cry: :x :lol:

ok - mine will be about $5300......ins should cover $2000 so that leaves $3300 out of pocket..... :shock:
It's amazing to see the range of prices over the different places!!! I'm on the East Coast in the US...

I'm located in Central San Joaquin Valley.
I got Damon 3 brackets.

$5,400 if I paid in montly installments, for 2 years of treatment.
$5,022 if I paid entire amount up front, for 2 years of treatment.

I paid all up front. :D
