Braces and ice help!!!!!

Ok so i have had my braces for two weeks lrior to that i was a habitual ice eater crushed crushed ice like slush Type.. Anywho i thought if i got my braces i would automacilly stop eating ice i mean didnt think i wasnt going to be able but now i cant stop although ive gone down from 6 cups to 1 cup a day... What can i do my brackets are in place but is it possible that.it coukd cause them to shift????? Help please need advice

No, but ice can break them which would cause them to shift.
