Hi - My ortho has said if my elastics don't work and correcting my overbite, I will need to wear forsus springs - they look pretty scary!

Has anyone had forsus springs? I'd be interested in hearing what they are like.

I didn't have any teeth extracted, but in the ten weeks of having braces I have noticed some changes...one side of my face seems a bit sunken - my teeth on that side have rotated inwards a bit - I assume it will even up with time.

My face seems generally just a bit longer!

I have the wire white ties, which are great! They do make the ceramics a touch more noticeable but if I can drink and eat what I want that is a good trade off for me esp. being able to still drink coffee.

I drink anything - got white coated wires instead of clear ligs on ceramics so I can drink what I want - couldn't live without coffee!
