Jackie, the more I read your posts the more I feel you should definitely be doing your footwork and, because you paid these people, should try to get compensated for their neglect. Even if you were going to lose the teeth anyways regardless of getting braces they shouldn't have had yo...

Healthy Gums?

This is kind of a spin off of Jackie's post. What do healthy gums look like? I'm thinking they're supposed to be a light pink but mine aren't. My gums slightly bleed in some areas when I floss too. Is this a concern to bring up to my regular dentist? Can they do perio consults? [/size...

Oh, honey! I'm so sorry that is happening!! It is an eye opener for a lot of us though to be careful and to be informed. For me, I would go to lengths for straight teeth and teeth period. I don't know how much I would put into them. My brother was a heavy smoker and most of his teeth are damaged or ...

Good morning, Tim, it's all going well so far. I have a huge gap where they extracted a lower incisor (I had too many and it was crowded). Other than that I hardly know they're there anymore.

Thanks, you guys, for the feedback. I have appts in January and that's #1 on the list. That is something to be very aware of. I want to keep my teeth and if it means they have to be crooked so be it! Better for them to be there.

Poor, Jackie. Dang, that is really a horrible story!

Heya, Baz...you did not bore me at all and I enjoy reading other people's dentition stories. My baby canines were taken out 11/14 (one actually broke and the dentist had to extract the rest). They served me well also. They made it look like I had straight teeth for so long. Baby teeth will not last ...

Thank you, Karen!

I could floss easier now between my lower incisors now that that extra incisor is out. That's a good thing, right?

Hope you all are doing well on your sides of the Earth...

I've had by braces in now for 12 days (yippeeee!) and the only way I could tell they're moving is by flossing. I couldn't get my floss between these two crowded teeth but now I can. Even after my extraction it was still tight but this evening I was able to floss with ease. How fun is that! I'm antic...

Heya, Tim! The others have pretty much told you this but I'd like to throw my dollar fifty cents in...most definitely call your ortho's office and demand (in a sweet way) that they remove that late fee. Also, I would bring to their attention that because you knew you were going away you paid the bil...
