When I first got my braces on I thought the ortho put them on crooked :) The wire was all "bendy" and I felt like I looked a bit like a robot or monster of some sort. Now, after a couple of weeks the wire is practically straight and my brackets like up already. Like magic :)

I've been craving popcorn since I was braced a few weeks ago. I don't really want to cause myself any pain for popcorn-- thanks for your story. I think I'll stay away and eat something else :)

I've been braced for 2 weeks and I have a mm sized gap already. That tooth seems to be moving faster than the rest.

Just reading about your food getting stuck in your braces. I find that swishing with water after I eat (or really whatever I'm drinking) helps to get most of the gunk out. Cheer up :) Think of the end results.
