First and formost: His cheating had nothing to do with you and everything to do with him. It was his mistake to let someone like you go. Second: The surgury is for you. When it's over and you see how much healthier you are you'll be glad he's not around to hold you back. Focus on being a better you....

If it makes you feel better know that only three of my teeth touch right now and I'm 6 weeks post op. I can chew soft foods very slowly with my molars. It's more slow because I keep bitting my cheecks. I'm going to have to get crowns to get my molars to touch eventually. But know that you will be ab...

Wow. way to jump back in!! I know before I went to work I started practicing saying the scientific names of critters. Maybe you could do your version of it. And remember to breath nice and deep to keep relaxed. Can you get a mic? That might help.
Good Luck!!

I have a vitamix blender. It's more expensive then a magic bullet but it can blend meats to nothing. I have blended toast in it. I had two pieces of bread some fancy soft cheese that begins with a c and added chicken broth to thin it out. It was fantastic!!! I also am lactose intolerant and have fou...

The comment I keep getting is that I look more symmetrical. That's what I get from working with a bunch of scientists.

Hmmmm, Snohomish, I think a road trip might be in order. A friend of mine whose really into Tia Chi says that the major chi line for healing is right behind the front teeth. I think I'm trying to subconsciously push the bite plate out of my mouth. :) My heart goes out to you Zou. We need a mantra fo...

Mangos are extremely fibrous. I also spent about 30min. cleaning out my teeth after a mango smoothie. Cous cous might work because it's a pasta and is a different starch than rice. That's fantastic that your smoothie place is willing to do that. Odwalla is an acquired taste. I'm glad you found somet...

Zou, if your blender can manage it throw a chunk of cheese in with the tomato red pepper soup. yummmmmm. Oh Shrim bisque. I found a lobster bisque at costco but haven't tried it. I also love the miso!!! There's a great restaurant down the street who has it. Arvensis, I would seriously complain about...

My OS hasn't mentioned ROM either.

Definently wait till the swelling goes down. When I was still swollen and tried to drink through a straw with my teeth separated I kept catching my bottom lip on a baracet and wouldn't notice it till I tore it loose trying to talk. Gotta love being numb.

It bleaches hair because it destroys the proteins. Cloth is just fiber.

You could always use a colored enhancing shampoo to cover up the blond.

I have the old fashioned brackets. I was told these were best for the surgery. I could have chosen other ones but was told the elastics sometimes pull them off. The thought of someone pushing on my lower jaw just after surgery made my skin crawl. I also have very tiny teeth so that also dictated my ...

I know what you mean. I work at a university and have to talk. My face hurt for the first two days. It gets better as the muscle remember what they're supposed to do.
Congrats on making it through your first day back!
