I have done some looking on the web with regards to MRI and braces as I will soon (at the end of this week) be getting an MRI done of my head (eye area) due to some issues there. The person that spoke with me on the phone when I was being informed of the booking did ask if I had a pacemaker, hearing...

My thoughts on this relate to the kids ability and desire to do proper oral hygiene (which is challenging with kids anyway, add brackets and wires and it becomes all the more challenging). I have my oldest in braces now (15)... my next one who is now 12 has been suggested for orthodontics, I feel he...

Mom:43, and son: 15 going through it together

My son and I both are experiencing orthodontics at present. He was 14 when his were put on and I was 42. We can relate to each other, and too... he seems to maybe take better care than he would if I was not as knowledgeable on what he is experiencing! All in all, I do think having each other going t...

Inter dental brushes are a good thing to start with... then when flossing... save the spaces with the springs for last as there is no doubt the floss will catch!

Desirees' Orthodontic Video journal

I took a different go at this, I decided to do videos when I looked through You-tube for some one to give me an idea what it was like to go through the orthodontic treatment process. I found very little out there... like no actual video journalling, so I went ahead and started mine the day I got the...
