Hey Avernsis, looking good there and your horse is lovely! I know what you mean about the teeth not meeting, it took a while for all of my teeth to meet, oney day they all met then the next none of them did, but they will eventually, are you on elastics?

Well thanks everyone for your replies. My teeth look and feel really wierd - I swear they look so fake as I am not used to seeing them! Getting them off was rather more painful than i expected, there was a couple of stubborn brackets that hurt when my ortho snapped them off and the drill-type-thing ...

Glad to hear from you one year post-op It's good you said the op has really improved your confidence in yourself and smiling as that is what happened to me aswell. It must be nice to show off your smile now and not feel insecure. I get my braces off in two days so hopefully I will have a nice smile....

On friday at 9.30am I will finally be free, can't believe how quick this day has come yet I feel like I have been in these things for ages! I had braces approx 28 months before surgery
Had surgery 28th January 2008
Got a date for braces removal (2 weeks time!!) which will be approx 5 months post-op

33 months altogether
