I live with my boyfriend & his father, we do not have to pay any rent, my car is paid off and the only bills I have are my cell phone which is $60.00 a month and my car insurance which is $180.00 every 3 months... So in all honesty, I'd be able to afford both payments if needed, probably even w...

I believe I have Inovation C - they are mostly clear, but not totally. They don't show much in pictures, which I like. I have SL metal on the bottom and they are much less comfortable. Yes, they're smaller, but somehow seem a lot sharper and pokier, whereas the ceramics are bigger, but smoother and ...

I have...or rather now had...a very similar looking fang. I'm happy to say that after just about 2 months in braces, it's very nearly fully tucked back into line. I've got one of the mainly clear self-ligating brackets and no "cage" (eek). Good luck with another consult - hope you find som...

And thanks metalmouth for your suggestions! Unfortunately it's not expansion I'd need, but a small jaw advancement and realignment. I have some crowding, but enough space overall for them to work with.

Fun over the holidays involved eating the bracket on my lower wisdom tooth. Not sure how or exactly when, but at some point Friday I realized that it was no longer on my tooth. As the tooth wasn't in the archwire yet, losing the bracket wasn't a big deal, but yum :? I am going in for my first adjust...

I'm now about 4 weeks into treatment...they've gone by pretty quickly. I generally have no difficulties eating though a recent BLTA sandwich was fairly challenging. I've seen a bit of movement, though not as much as I'd like (of course, I'd LIKE to be done by now...I didn't say I was hoping realisti...

Dr. B retired? Hmm...that's who my ortho sent me to for an initial consult a few months ago. My ortho didn't mentioned anything at my bracing, but yuck - i don't like change.

Mine are low too...I'm assuming it's based on where your teeth are now and the way they need to move your teeth. I doubt it's just preference since others at my orthodontists office have their brackets more in the middle.

The debanding and cleaning may have also exposed a small spot that's sensitive. I had a deep cleaning a few months ago and had strong sensitivity on one tooth that didn't have any recession for about a week or so after and then it went away. The dentist said it was nothing to worry about.
