Keep with it, you always notice them more than anyone else. I just finished 32 uppers and most people never noticed.

P.S. my name was supposed to be yours exactly, but I had a typo and can't fix it:( Elf is the best!

I'm done w/ uppers today!

Hi all, Just wanted to share that I've got an appt w/ the ortho today and we're finished w/ the uppers 32/32. yay! I've been so happy with the treatment and have had absolutely no hick-ups. (I've still got a few trays on the bottom 32/35 left) My teeth look amazing, but they are not exactly perfect ...

I'm not sure if I'll need refinements - the only thing she's talked of is doing some filing at the end so that all the teeth are straight, but also....'even', I guess would be the word, because my canines are a little pointy.

I can't wait to show pictures; it was really an extreme / borderline case.

Hi Jean, My ortho is the same way - I don't receive more than 2 aligners at a time, for she wanted to see me. Reason being, we ended up doing a lot of IPR because of my ridiculous crowding. Well...I am nearing the end and I'm on tray 29 of 32/35. I cannot even begin to explain how happy I've been w/...

Yes, I believe loose teeth is normal for invisilign, or any other type of braces. I am on tray 28 of 32/35 and I am SOOOO thrilled at the results so far. I cannot wait until Oct/Nov when we get to file off the attachments. It's somewhat been a breeze and the time flies by. Back to loose teeth - I as...

Haha...this sounds EXACTLY like my experience. The first 2 days I was very very close to going back to my ortho and just canceling it because I didn't think I'd be able to carry on for a month, never mind a year and a half. It was so bad I didn't care about the money. It was complete agony trying to...

I suggest you leave them on for the entire time - your ortho knows best. As tempting as it sounds, you dont' want to sacrifice messing up the plan and having to start over. I have heard horror stories. Remember (as someone once told me on this board) - slow and steady wins the race!! Trays 27 out 32...

drinking

Hi all, I'm on tray 22 of 32 and I have been very lax w/ the whole drinking thing too. I usually take them out for 3-4 hours when I go out drinking on the weekends, unless it's the last couple days of a tray - because then I don't have to worry about stainage. Weeknights = 22 hours a day, weekend ni...

removing...

It was very difficult for me at the beginning, but very easy now - as long as my nails aren't down to the skin because I'm a biter! For the tops, I push my middle finger down on the canine and then stretch the index finger down to the molar of the same side. So for me, it's better taking them off on...

Wow, that's terrif Lily...is reshaping almost like "sanding down" in a way? I believe I will need that after my invisilign treatment. What is the cost btw?

Congrats!!!

On tray 17

I am on tray 17 of 32 (or so) and nothing has hurt as bad as tray 1 did. Now the pain is nonexistent, or a very slight pain that...not sure if I am weird...have come to enjoy. I compare it to going to the gym, for it's a pain that you know is good for you!

Loose teeth?

Hi all,

I'm on trays 13 of 32 and I've noticed my bottom teeth - while they look terrific - are starting to get a bit loose. I'm not terribly concerned right now, but wanted to see if this happens (ed) to anyone else..

Thanks!

alcohol

Hi newbie. I'm an active 28 year old and go out every weekend to bars and drink. I know I will be drinking something other than beer (i.e. Jack and Coke), so I take them out before my first drink. I put them in when I get home and although it sometimes is upwards of 4-5 hours - I don't feel it's a b...
