is your last archwire suppose to be square? i know it may be different for everyone, but my archwire has been getting thicker and thicker and the ortho assistant said my next wire will be square. i think it will be my last one, but i didnt ask cause the ortho was very busy.

I vote NO for '08. In '07 I wanted to get braces and I did in February. Now that I have them, I feel as if my treatment is out of my control. I just do what the ortho says.

I got braced 1 week ago. I have damon self-ligating brackets. I have absolutely no pain. I cant feel them moving, teeth are not sore. Perhaps this isnt working? Are there any cases where teeth are just too stubborn to move?

is there such a thing as tooth colored dental wax?? right now i'm using a silicone product (I forget the name) that the ortho gave me that is clear.

oh wow. is the wire normally changed every 10-20 weeks only? wouldnt the wire get loose and no longer be effective? I can't get an appointment for a teeth cleaning for about 1 month. I am a bridesmaid in a wedding next week and my buttons are staining brown (the button glue too). I've had invisalign for 3 months now. Does anyone know an at home treatment to get the staining out?

I drink anything with them in (although I've never tried red wine since I prefer white anyway). But I'll drink diet coke and rum or whiskey and they are fine.
