I have to get an implant where one of my molars was never formed.

My Ortho gave me a sheet of "don't eats", which included gum and about every other non liquid food imaginable , but i chew gum and have never had any problems with breaking anything so far.

I got my wires changed the first 3 times, then haven't had them changed the last 4 times. they added hooks for elastics, but not much else.

The wisdom tooth is just the third adult molar. All catarrhine primates (Old World Monkeys & Apes, including humans) have 3 molars. The third molar is the last one to erupt. Im not trying to start a debate over evolution, but that is scientific reasoning. I am lucky and don't have wisdom teeth! :D

Looks like some great progress aznfayeth. I'm envious, your teeth are so straight and white. How did you get your teeth that much whiter while in braces?

I originally had bite turbos, But I bit them off twice in two days. Finally, they Decided to put a build up on my back 2 molars instead. You should ask your ortho if that would work instead of having a bite turbo if they are really bothering you.

Your body might just naturally produce more tartar than normal.I had the same problem with out braces until I started using Crest Tartar control Whitening plus Scope. After i started using that tooth paste, I stopped having that problem.

yeah, its really common for brackets bonded to crowns to pop off.

I use my waterpik 5-6 times a day. its by far the best money spent in terms of oral hygeine.

I don't know how long it wil take to just correct my midline alone, but i will have elastics for 6-8 months. (my midline is around one and a half teeth off from where it is suppose to be.)I also have a mild overbite, so that might add some time to it.

Yeah, I saw it on the local news this morning.

supposably their going to start adding it to candy also.
