When I saw my ortho last visit he told me that I'm ready to get my braces off for my next visit!! I was so happy I thought I was gonna cry. I'm so excited!!!

For me, I wanted ceramic braces but then I realized that I wanted to have the full braces experience by having the metal brackets. I also wanted to switch up the colors because if you're going to have braces on for more than a year why not go all out by having as much fun you can while they last?

I know some processes take longer than others, or maybe it' s the fact that your ortho isn't the best...?

All I can say is patience my friend.

Your orthodontist definitely should have informed you about that. I think it varies from case to case, for example, my ortho told me to wear mine everyday 24/7 and at first I hated it because I didn't want to look even more weird but I eventually accepted it as apart of my braces aesthetic I guess :D.

So I did an update on my teeth a few days ago and now I've got a gap between my two front teeth and my upper left canine tooth. I don't know if this is a good or bad sign... My band colors ALWAYS fade by the next appointment I have with my ortho. I find that acidic foods and foods that can stain can cause for the discoloration.

Wow! My ortho also put a bend in my wire as well! I did see little movement with this, but I will definitely let my ortho know about this tooth because I've thought about how great it'd be to get my braces off asap but I'd rather have it on a bit longer for the best results...
