Re: Upper Jaw Surgery Reversal? Nose question and Depression
Will moving my upper jaw down and back make my nose small again? I'm a girl in my mid 20's and I got a botched surgery, every aesthetic nightmare I've read about has come true. Almost two years ago I got double jaw surgery: upper jaw moved up (A LOT), forward, and tilted to "fix" a cant a...

I'm having my existing plates and screws removed in two weeks. Feel free to contact me if you would like to connect with someone in the same boat....

Re: Double Jaw Surgery Regret-Reversal?
Did anyone ever get the reversal? My surgeon over impacted me too. I am so so unhappy. He did ummer, lower jaw and chin. He said that if I really wanted he could put the jaws back prior to how it was before surgery, but I have lost all my trust in him. I am so desperate I just want my face and smile ...

[quote=jawregret1 post_id=486170 time=1476369326 user_id=28199] I'm a 21 year old female. I had an overbite that was camouflaged with braces, but then my ortho said I would look better with jaw surgery and then my bite would be truly class 1. Also, ortho suggested lower jaw only but the surgeon went...

[quote=Snophik post_id=490105 time=1485648143 user_id=27815] Hi fixmenow. The maxilla can be brought down again. I'm in a very similar situation as you and have to go throug another surgery. I think your nose is going to get a lot better when more time has passed. Mine has gotten more normal but far...

I have had this happen as well , I'm having a revision to bring it down again using a graft.

Hi,
I really really would like to know if you had the revision and how it turned out? Please let me know if this is still active. Thanks

[quote=Lostfaith post_id=484947 time=1473971113 user_id=27351] Not another one that's been over impacted , I have been as well and am in contact with lots of others . Will it get better , probably not as a impaction doesn't really relapse . Do you now show a lot of lower tooth when speaking ? I am h...

Re: My daughter had double jaw surgery and it has all gone wrong!
Hi,
I don't know if this is till active, but I hope that someone will see this post and give me some answers.
Is there someone who had a revision done after the first surgery did not have the outcome it should have had? I really would like to know if there are people who have done this before.
