I go every month...so every 4 wks.

Mine cost $3500. My insurance doesn't cover them so it's all out of pocket. Had to put $500 down and paying $120/mo.

I've had many teeth pulled due to decay. I have 2 right next to each other on my top teeth on the right side. I also have 1 extraction on the top left. I was braced just 2 weeks ago and I miss food so bad. I can't chew anything and I miss my favorite things. My 11 yr old also has braces and I get jealous of watching him eat a hamburger or tacos. Why can he eat and I can't? Sorry about complaining, I'm just having a "pity party" over here....

I have traditional metal braces and had no pain the day I got them on. Day 3 was the worst in terms of pressure. I never had "pain", just uncomfortable pressure...i never had to take pain meds.
