Closing coil!? Must be painful!

Closing an annoying gap!

Hellow fellow bracers! I'm at the last phase of closing gaps. There is an annoying gap between my left bottom first and second molar. I'm on powerchains and elastics at the moment and made a conscious effort to chew on the left but progress is excruciating close. :-+ Any suggestions to quicken the c...

Re: My teeth itch

So glad that I'm not alone!

I do experience itching from time and time and I'll guide my tongue behind those teeth. Sometimes I literally scratched those teeth's behind!

Elastics Orientation

Hi guys, I was put on elastics recently. I'm doing okay with them and am following my dentist's instructions religiously. However, I noticed that the orientation between both sides ain't similar. I was slightly doubtful at the clinic days ago but did not question further because my dentist was in a ...

Interestingly, I tend to clench my jaws only when I had the turbos/stoppers on.

Re: Bite Stoppers

My dentist calls them "blue mountains" because the the material is in blue. I had mine at my molars to prevent my top teeth from knocking off my bottom braces and had them for around 3 months. I supposed the duration varies person from person. A friend of mine with overbite had stoppers si...

Me!

I had both bottom impacted wisdom teeth removed on separate occasions. I later extracted 4 premolars and 2 top wisdom at a go around a week before I have my braces on.

Re: A birthday present to myself at 33

Day 328 [/u] Been awhile since my last update. Honestly, nothing significant worth mentioning apart from creating space for a rotated tooth to move into place. Yesterday was adjustment day and the rotated tooth is finally attached to the wire! The doc said rotation is generally painless but it take...

Wow amazing progress and very nice smile. Have you experienced any complications and face changes due to your extractions? Sorry for the late reply! I haven't had any complications from extractions. Many complimented that my cheeks are sharper and smile is wider; could be due to some weight loss an...

Re: Self-litigating braces I gates continually opening

I'm able to open a particular gate... sometimes 1 or 2 brush bristle got stuck there and I managed to open the gate and remove them myself.

No biggie unless the wire is obviously loose and out of the gates.

Hi there fellow Singaporean! :D Congrats on making the first step! I'm a Damon-3 user so cannot comment on the staining part. However, I do have clear power chains here and there and they turned leon yellow almost immediately after my coffee. On the bright side, it's leon yellow and not some weird c...
