I have ceramic brackets on a bonded front tooth as well as on two crowns. Brackets are still in place :-) .

Initially I used the same ortho my kids used. Two months of horrible communication and a terrible bedside manner I decided to interview 3 additional doctors. All consults were free, I found a wonderful orthodontist, in turn he recommended a very knowledgeable periodontist, and a fabulous new dentist...

I will be honest, 3 extractions plus grafting was not comfortable. My periodontist made me comfortable, I had good after surgery meds and used ibuprofen a few days later. I had my surgery the day before Thanksgiving, and after my surgery went and had my brackets placed. There was a lot that happened...

I had a lower incisor removed (an old crown from my teens) 5 weeks ago. My ortho recommended to remove the crown since it was very big.
