My ortho has filed my top & bottom teeth - I have not noticed them being sensitive but that be different with each person.

I bought my waterpik the day I got braced.... I use it multiple times a day but will tell you this - on days when my teeth/gums are sore, I use the waterpik on my gums to help and sooth them like a massage. It does help -

I hear myself talk differently so for me, braces have made my speech worse. I too have the lisp, sometimes, depends on the word. It also depends on how sore my teeth are - I don't talk as much since braces....

what about a Walgreens or CVS or some drug store that is always open - my husband went to Walmart today and was able to buy me some....

oh wow - I never thought about my clenching my teeth so much more having something to do with the headaches I seem to be getting lately.....but it does make sense. When I wake up in the morning, I can tell if I have been clenching a lot at night (some nights are worse than others) and I get headache...
