Re: Do teeth move and settle after braces are removed?
You seem to have the problem I used to have after I was debraced. Please read my old posts. My teeth settled and I don't have the problem any longer. Well I saw my Ortho today and the braces have been removed, even now things are much better and seem to fit great, should have trusted the ortho's ju...

Do teeth move and settle after braces are removed?
I'm nearing the end of my journey of surgery and braces, and have a question on if and how teeth move afterwards, even when you use retainers, I can't quite get my head around it! I have a slight clash of my upper incisor to the lower tooth, the lower doesn't quite slot in behind the upper and cause...

Re: DECEMBER 2014 BUDDIES!!
Nice to hear you are out the other side gutsygumshoe! Surprised they didn't give you codene to go home with, odd! All my meds were liquid and had I syringes and a tube to administer them. Kept to strict regieme every 4 hours, even used an alarm to take through the night. Sounds extreme but believe m...

Overnight retainers
Hi all, Looking like getting debraced next month and my ortho has said I'd need to wear overnight retainers, and that's it. Worried things will move during the day, should I use them when I'm at home even if not sleeping, just in case? Obviously worried after nearly three years things will go back t...

Hi all, it's been a fairly long journey, but after starting my treatment with 6 extractions, I am due to be de braced just before the 3 year anniversary next month! I am extremely excited, and also a little nervous on what to expect on the day, cos my teeth / mouth is still fairly sensitive since ha...

Re: Strange twinges
Hiya, went in today and to be honest they weren't too sure, only got to see my ortho who said it could be the pressure from the brace. Good news though, ortho happy with progress and looking at debonding next month :) - So, will keep an eye on it and see if lack of braces helps. None the wiser today...

Re: DECEMBER 2014 BUDDIES!!
Recovery wasn't too bad gutsygumshoe, as I said it (not I :) ) won't be as bad as you think - I spent 3.5 days in hospital and then went home, stayed 3 nights. Much better off at home, easier to sleep and rest and you can please yourself. First 2 weeks were tough but manageable, make sure you have a...
