Re: Braces at 31; chocolate's story

Yeah my orthodontist is avoiding the extractions unless necessary, and with my profile from the side my upper lip sticks out due to the overjet so I’m having them teeth pushed back and my lower jaw slightly moved forward to bring them in line if that makes sense. What’s the reason you would say avo...

Re: Braces at 31; chocolate's story

A decade later and I need to open up my bottom teeth. They ended up too far back, I ended up with a deep bite and now I spit when I talk, I sometimes literally drool and my tongue although has gotten used to the cramped space still struggles for room. Looking for an orthodontist now who can do my bo...

Re: Debanded and concerned

Randi, That is a tough call, I don't know what you should do. I am inclined to say stay the course and have your ortho's new team tweak your Hawley. But PP has a good point, if its a courtesy they might just want your ortho's patients out. I was the squeaky wheel on Monday at my ortho and it was un...

Ha ha. Same exact scenario in my ortho's office. Every assistant except the guy who does the molds is a woman. And there are like 20 of them. No joke. Big office.

If my post is making you leave, then I suggest you grow some thick skin. This is an anonymous internet forum. I have no idea who you are and vice versa. It was just an opinion of mine, which is what internet forums are all about. Some people on here get so sensitive. "Oh she hurt my feelings be...

Re: BuckTooth No More!!!!!!!!!

Looking good so far. I went back to your first page to see your before or "right at beginning" pics. Looks like your arches are now all in the same plane and spaces are closing. Very exciting. Going for my adjustment tomorrow and getting back in closing loops and elastics. Then have a date...

I have to ask Klo, does your job involve sitting in front of a computer? Or are you a work from home type of gal? The amount of posts you have in the few short months is insane. I mean wow.

Yes, you should trust her. Bring it up every few months just to remind her and ask her what can be done to correct it.

Re: Has anyone got tad's or is getting them. Got ????

I've had mine since last October. They put mine in while I was under for impacted wisdom tooth removal so no I didn't feel it. it took a couple months for mine to act right as my bone is soft where they needed them placed. But once they were all set it's been great. OK well not great I have a love ...

Looking good so far in just 5 months. Got any profile pics? From the looks of things from the front looks like you got mild issues that may not require surgery.

Re: BuckTooth No More!!!!!!!!!

Good progress so far. Isn't it exciting but at times annoying? I had to have a total of 4 teeth removed + wisdoms that were done over 10 years ago. Was very hesitant but went ahead and did it. So far like how my profile is looking.

Re: Overbite+light overjet - questions about 2 different met

Firstly, DO NOT LET ANYONE extract K9 teeth. That's just not right. You need them for biting hard things sometimes. Extractions usually take the form of the premolars behind the K9's. Either the first or second set. Secondly every orthodontist has differing views on orthodontic treatment. I wish I h...

I agree. You seem to have made so much more progress than I have in 4 months vs one year. Congrats.
