I had my braces off last week. They put a cheese wire on the top and bottom 4 teeth on the back! It is a really crappy job and it kills my tongue! Why can't I have just a regular retainer? Should I ask him for the removable ones?

Pink and light blue! I am not brave enough yet to try dark colors! think they make my teeth look yellow! Teal and purple!

I have been told that chewing gum, sugarless after an adjustment helps.....well I know that it does help too! I have a vibrating toothbrush that helps too! I did not do it this time and OMG I am stil hurting from Monday!

Yeppers back in spacers. They took my right upper band off and let it go for a week, then put spacers back it! They have not bothered me at all, I did accidently floss and they did not come out! But yes it was sore and stinky and once they took it off it bled like CRAZY!!!!!!!!! But feel alot better...

I try to floss once a day! But with the threaders I find if you tie one end of the floss on the lop part, it dont come off and its alot easier!!! Flossing sucks!

I want different colors then what the ortho has, so I am gonna buy my own and have them put them on!!!

This is where your teeth were rubbing against eachother before you had braces! I have a few too and I cant get rid of them! This is why I guess you get your teeth fixed as a young child! I know some make your teeth look yellow and white and clear stain! I like the light blue, but want to change colors! What colors make your teeth look whiter and not yellow???

You can have your tops taken off just for the weekend and then put back on! Or you can do the airbrush thing! Good luck!

I just went yesterday and when I left nohting was bothering me! I bet an hour later it was poking me. I tired to bend it back, I like to use the end of a tweezer! Sometimes it just works enough other times I have to go and do it a few times

I have skied all winter so far and no problems! I did notice tho my teeth were a bit more sesitive to the cold air!
