MY bottom teeth are done!!! 21 of 21 trays completed on the lowers. They look 30 times better than when I first started treatment. I am working on 1/2 way though the top which has a total of 48. Anything positive about invisalign is a good thing especially with this board! So far no problems on the ...

Update on Invisaguy's progress

I know that this board could use a little more positive posts on Invisalign. I am almost finished with my bottom teeth...half way through tray 20 of 21. This next tray I put in will double up as a retainer until my upper treatment is complete. I have been doing 3 weeks per tray and have not had any ...

I have to say the bottom tray you mentioned not fitting well is a pretty big concern. I don't think we invisalign users have as much liberty (time wise) with taking your trays in and out as we seem to think. Teeth move, and quickly. You notice the pressure you feel replacing them after 45 minutes (d...

Apperently nvrsaynvr's ortho thinks 3 weeks is necessary so the smart thing to do is listen to your ortho and DO WHAT THEY TELL YOU! Buttercup is right nvrsayvnr, there your teeth. Don't screw them up by listening to non-professional advise. I am also doing 3 weeks between tray replacements as advis...

Hi Dr. J, Bit of a complicated story. I had extractions done from a previous treatment that never got completed due to me moving to the States. With this previous treatment I had headgear to help adjust my lower jaw forward. This along with 4 extractions U/L setup me up to be ready for treatment (wh...

Facial effect of overjet correction. LARGE overjet!!

Hi Doc's, I know this is a constant question but here me out. I am currently in invisalign treatment. I have a lot of issues that are being corrected by invisalign. I have a very narrow arch, along with a very large overjet (12-14mm) but getting better. Also have a problem with a deep bite which is ...

Re: invisalign

I put on my letterhad that i do Invisalign and I am thinking about taking it off. I see nothing but a majority of dissatified pts who almost all of them say "had I known it would take this long I would've gotten braces". It costs you the patient and me the doctor $$$ for a switch to fixed...

My suggestion would be to make an appointment with a reputable cosmetic dentist in your area. They can review your case and discuss available options for you. But do it now, no time to delay if your wedding is coming up soon. Good luck.
P.S> There are options but you have to take action.

Hi Lex, I have noticed the prices for invisalign treatment seems to vary by ortho. I think the reason being is the level of service they provide. I have heard of people paying $4000 but all that was done was the checkups and one refinement. If something went wrong beyond that they would end up payin...

So, is it not ok to post a reply to a thread that is a month old? If not why not-some people may still be interested because the thread is pretty accessable. What is the right way to post? Do you typically respond to a post the died out two months ago? My point is most of these posts being "re...

I don't want to sound mean but why all of a sudden are there threads that have been dead for a month or more getting reposted all over this forum? I know there are a lot of newbies reading older threads but it seems silly to reply to something talked about months ago. It keeps happening so EVERYONE ...

Invisalign Retainer Question

Assuming everything goes good with my Invisalign treatment I will end up with a retainer made by Invisalign. My Dentist intends on giving me two crowns for my fronth teeth and also wants to do shaping when the treatment is over. If I end up getting crowns and shaping done my teeth will be different ...

Did you know that everyone has a different treatment plan? The way my teeth are planned out for movement is far different than the way yours are planned.
My point is you can't possibly expect someone to be able to answer that question except for your ortho.
