Either way I expect. It's a technical question for your ortho. The basics though are 4 teeth (and roots) bound together vs. assorted teeth individually bound by an elastic, which force will win. This is the premise, as i visulaize it, to the whole process. In what you say, is it that a super or 'x' ...

The teeth move like a see-saw. The wire will pull a couple of teeth one way, once they've moved, it will kick in on the other side and move those. It's all controlled movements depending on how the wire is fixed. Wire ties on say the front four will anchor those teeth and cause the remaining teeth t...

I should add, looks a lot more natural and better IMO 'as is'.You got awesome big white teeth, if they were flawless after completion I'd wonder if you did indeed do some cosmetics to achieve that. I expect to have some similar malfunctions after my treatment and refuse to have any fake stuff applie...

Here: :) Actually to me they look very nice. How did it look before? The thing is, and it was a massive surprise to me, is that technically its the inside of the row of the teeth that count. The backside of your teeth when complete should be "flush" the other side, the front or what you ar...

Sounds nasty. On the ortho's part actually. 1. 700$ represents say 3 months worth of payments if under a regular payment plan. How could they have allowed it to get to that point. 2. Subject to the actual contract, common sense though the work isn't complete until they take them off, then you make y...

What's the actual question. 8) The process of having a Cat Scan? Nothing to it. http://bryanking.net/wp-content/uploads/2009/08/computed_tomography_ct_scan.jpg Looks similar while the tech is completely different, to an MRI, which I had 20 + years ago to see if my jaw bone was worn out due to ...

Very normal. Everyone psyches themselves out. Took me two years after committing to actually proceed. Strangest thing you may ever encounter in your lifetime. Jumping out of a functional aircraft with a bag of silk on your back is easier. For some reason this process at this age is as bizarre a hurd...

I'm at this stage right now. Where to me it looks like I just walked in and need braces. This after three years. It's totally tweaking time and you must speak up and point out what you feel and see and what you want adjusted. They're watching the bite vs the aesthetics. It's imperative that you spea...

You can always just dry brush them. No toothpaste, just water. Collapsible cup and tooth brush in your pocket, quick brush and rinse, 30 seconds in the bathroom at work and you're done.

Go for a 4th opinion and raise the other 3's methods, subtely of course. You'll get a feel for what is what along with the 4th's opinion, unless they come up with a completely different opinion to all the others.

Sounds right in a general sense. Is it an overjet or overbite? All the teeth need to "touch" each other otherwise they'll over-erupt (keep coming growing or coming out of the jaw). This is the whole purpose of braces to correct the bite. Which teeth are they talking about? The front 4. If ...

Normal.

They move immediately after an adjustment and a few days before the next adjustment. I think the interval is around every 2 weeks or so.

Re: Just got my braces fitted!

. Just have a quick silly question. When i brush my teeth with my electric toothbrush I am concerned that if I put too much pressure on my teeth I will know off a bracket. Can someone reassure me that this will not happen? haha No it won't knock the brackets off. It definitely does feel like it tho...

Seems you have to be logged in to see it. Not up on facebook either but pretty sure you didn't have to be a member to and be logged in to see the pages there before? At this moment doesn't look like you can see anything on facebook unless logged in.
