Hi! I just turned 45 a week ago, and I have had braces on for 9 months. I have ceramic on the top and metal on the bottom. It has worked out very well for me, nothing popping of so far, and the teeth look wonderful! Hope to get them off soon! Good luck to you!

It does get better! Five months in, I can pretty much eat what I want, like others have said sometimes I just tear off pieces, or cut things up. I do eat more on my back teeth, and salad is still a little difficult, but I love it, and still eat it. It just depends on what it is. Pretty soon they won...

Hi, I have ceramic brackets on top, and metal on the bottom. This combo seems to be popular, especially on adults, because they don't show as much. Its just a matter of taste I suppose!

Don't change your mind!! It feels a little rough at first, but they soon just become a part of your world, and seeing the changes are worth it! You will love your teeth when that happens....and you will be happy you did it!! good luck!!

Hey Chris! I really noticed a change after a month, especially after my first adjustment. I can tell, because the floss gets in to some of the tight spots much easier! But I am sure you can notice some improvement, I thought I did too much sooner!
