Deborah from New Jersey
My name is
Deborah and I live in New Jersey. I got my braces on 2 days
ago. The decision to have braces was not an easy one for me
as I had got used to my crocked and crowded teeth. However,
after finding out that one of my front teeth was dead or
would be soon, a decision had to be made as to how best to
proceed - extract the tooth and get an implant which would
be crooked forever or get my teeth straightened and then
have an implant. Due to the overcrowding I also had to have
4 molars extracted.
At this point
there was no turning back. So here I am 2 days into the process
and not enjoying the journey at all. Eating is a pain both
literally and figuratively but it also means cleaning which is
time consuming and hurts. Pain killers help. So far only soft
foods for me. The bottom brackets have become less noticeable
but the top ones still feel like I have pebbles attached to my
teeth. Have started to use the wax. I am sure the end result
will be worth the pain and discomfort. Watch this space... |
